Guided Shore Fishing on the Cardigan Bay Coast of Mid-Wales

Are you a sea angler on holiday in Mid-Wales and not sure where to fish? Want to learn the art of shore fishing from scratch? Are you fishing but not catching? Are you after a particular fish species for the list? Then help is at hand.

I've been a regular shore-fisherman around the west coast of Wales for over thirty years. My book on the area, Shore Fishing: a Guide to Cardigan Bay, was published in 2013 to very positive reviews and in spring 2015, I began offering tuition and guiding in the district.

My local patch runs from south of Aberystwyth to north of Tywyn, although I do venture further afield. It's a beautiful section of the Welsh coast, with stunning scenery. Its rich wildlife not only includes fish: sightings of dolphins and porpoises often add to the experience.

There's a wide range of fish species available depending on the time of year and type of ground that is fished, so long as the weather-gods are in a good mood. Please bookmark and follow the link below to discover more, and I look forward to meeting you on the beach sometime!
